The Desert national Park of Jaiselmer shows the extreme conditions in which an eco-system can operate in a maintained way.


Rajasthan features a wide climatic conditions from arid to semi arid. In summer season, the temperature gets on the hotter side and in winter, places like Maunt abu reaches near freezing point and deserts become scenic place to visit. The rainfall is also diverse in the state of Rajasthan and varies from 150 mm in dry places to 1000 mm in some places but the average stands at 200-400 mm. July to September are the month when the majority of mansoon time is expected in Rajasthan.
